2008 Summer Golf Enhancement Project Update
The Golf Club at Ballantyne Resort will reopen to the public on September 18 after undergoing significant enhancements to provide the region’s best total golfing experience. We are excited to share some of the recent progress of the Golf Club’s renovations. Hole 2 is undergoing a new design and layout, and it is nearly complete. Hole 3, which has become a par 4, is also very close to being finished.
The addition of a small pond to the back of hole 13’s green really adds the perfect backdrop.
All of the tee boxes on the front 9 (other than hole 4) have been expanded and laser leveled to offer increased playability and more challenging options. In addition, the driving range tee is complete, and the shaping has begun for the practice putting green.
The Golf Events Pavilion will be completed in August and will offer event space at the driving range as an enhancement to the golf outing and tournament experience. To inquire about a golf outing this fall, please contact Noelene Grosso at 704-248-4036.
