GOLF CLUB at BALLANTYNE RESORT REOPENED SEPTEMBER 18, 2008
The Golf Club at Ballantyne Resort takes great pride in the newly renovated course and is confident that we provide the area’s finest golf experience. We value your loyalty and support of the Ballantyne community and appreciate your patience while we improved our facilities. We look forward to your feedback on these improvements:
- New driving range with laser leveled surface and new putting greens
- Complete rebuild of tee boxes for all 18 holes
- Construction of a totally new 2nd hole
- Relocation of the 3rd hole tee boxes and converting the hole from a par 5 to a par 4
- Relocation of the 12th hole tee boxes and converting the hole from a par 4 to a par 5
- Complete rebuild of 8th hole green
- Addition of a Golf Outing Pavilion offering food and beverage services, facilities and reception venue
- Sand bunkers rebuilt and re-sanded
Use of the driving range will now be restricted to hotel guests, outing participants and persons playing the course on a daily fee basis. We will honor any outstanding unused range cards and tokens.
We want to emphasize the importance of making advance reservations and checking the facility’s availability. Golf course, driving range and putting green availability is impacted by user demand, time of year, closures for special events, course maintenance requirements and weather. Hours and conditions of operations are available daily in the pro shop or may be obtained by calling 704–248–4383.

Most are unchanged from those in effect prior to our closing.
Reservations
Online ten days in advance, call-ins seven days in advance (704-248-4383), guests of Resort extended preferred tee times which can be made at time of reservation. All tee times must be secured by a credit card and must be cancelled 24 hours in advance.

Driving Range & Putting Greens
Use restricted to hotel guests, outing participants and persons playing the course on a daily fee basis.
Dress Attire
Appropriate dress attire includes collared shirt, Bermuda length shorts, no jeans or jean shorts, no halter tops and no metal golf spikes.
Rental Clubs
Available at $45.00 per day. A limited number of children clubs are available at $25 per day.
Other Policies
Outside food, beverage, and coolers are not permitted.
Maximum players 4, five-somes are not permitted.
