The Golf Course is temporarily closed for enhancements and will re-open September 18, 2008. The Pro Shop, Z Golf and Dana Rader Golf School will remain open daily. The enhancements will further improve the quality of the course as part of the continued efforts to provide an elevated golf experience. We are pleased to announce the addition of an outdoor pool premiering in 2009. The indoor pool will continue to be fully operational during the outdoor construction project taking place adjacent to The Spa now through January.

Hotel Policy & Information

• Ballantyne Resort is a non-smoking hotel. All guest rooms and indoor public spaces are smoke free. Smoking is permitted on the outside Terraces and on the Golf Course.
• Attire is Resort Casual or Business Casual throughout the Property. Dinner Attire is Business Casual or Nice Dress. Bathing Suite Coverups or Robes are recommended when walking from guest rooms to the pool area.
• Room Revenue Tax is 15.25% and subject to change without notice
  (7.25% local sales tax and 8% county wide occupancy tax)
• Guests must be 18 years of age or older to reserve a room and 21 years of age or older to access the mini-bars
• Ballantyne Resort enforces a no-party policy in guest rooms, Event Space can be contracted for special events in advance.  For Event Planning, CLICK HERE
• Check-In is 3pm and Check-Out is Noon
• The standard cancellation policy is by 6pm 48hours prior to the guaranteed arrival date, one night's room and tax will be charged for any cancellation within 48 hours of arrival.  Please note that some rate plans reserved on-line and for special events may have a non-changeable and non-cancel policy in which case you will be be charged a full deposit in advance and charges will not be refunded for cancelling.
• All Reservations require a credit card to guarantee unless group direct bill arrangements have been made in advance.
• Extra Person fees apply after 2 people over the ages of 18 and vary by rate/package
• Roll-Away Beds are only available by request in King Bed Rooms and are $35 additional per day.
• Pets are not permitted; If a pet is brought on the premises they are subject to fees. Pets such as seeing-eye dogs are permitted with advance notice; fees and a pet waiver will be required at check-in.
• Ballantyne Resort does not have a shuttle, transportation information can be accessed by contacting our Concierge 704-248-4055.
• Complimentary valet and self parking are available to all guests
• Local Phone Calls $1.50 flat; Toll Free numbers do not have an access fee
• Wireless Internet Charge is $9.95 per 24 hours, Meeting Room Wireless has additional access fees and must be contracted in advance.
