Beginner Belly Dance Series
Starting August 7, Pro Trainer Fitness will offer a Series of Beginner Belly Dance classes at Ballantyne Resort, Thursdays from 7pm - 8pm, for a 5-week session.

This class will not only give you the basic fundamentals you need, we're going to put them together for you in fun beginner choreography! This class runs in a 5 week session so you won't want to miss a class as each one will build on the week before. You will get a warm-up, review of the moves from previous weeks, new moves, zills (yes, zills!), and then a new part of the choreography. By the end of the session you will have an entire choreography to show family and friends. Recommended for the beginner student.

Bellydance is a wonderful form of exercise. It promotes muscle control and a better understanding of isolation and separation. Focus on mid-sections & hips, learn technique and choreography to drum style music.  But most of all, its lots of fun. There is really no dress code....sweat pants, tee shirt, yoga pants, tank top....whatever you are comfortable in. If you have a hip scarf or coin belt, please feel free to bring that as well. No prior dance training is required, just curiosity and a smile!

SWEAT IT OUT WITH THE SUMMER SHAPE UP

There’s no better time to get fit than this summer at the Spa at Ballantyne Resort. From July 1 through September 30, Pro Trainer Fitness is featuring a fitness challenge with boot camp. Participants will take before and after pictures, as well as receive a nutritional consultation, personal training and measure body composition.

Work hard for 90 days and make fitness a habit for life with boot camp. Incorporating basic exercises along with team and individual training, boot camp will enable people to reach their personal fitness goals. Boot camp challenges a person’s energy level and outlook on life while burning fat, conditioning the heart, firming muscles and leaning the body quickly. Exercises include fat burning drill intervals such as jumping jacks, sprints, push-ups, crunches and more.

Both the male and female with the best results will receive a three-month, all-access wellness pass to the Spa Ballantyne Resort, including a monthly $180 spa service credit, weekly personal training sessions, monthly nutritional consultation and two rounds of golf per month.

Boot camp is offered Monday through Friday at 7:30am and on Saturday at 9:00am. Pricing options include $10 per class, $70 for eight classes or $199 for 20 classes. Advance reservations are recommended at 704-248-4193.
